Maxi Cardigan

The Maxi Cardigan is your staple piece throughout the seasons! In autumn, you can wear it over a light blouse; in winter, as a twin set with a woollen top (the Easy Crochet Top or Fuzzy Vichy Top, in the same yarn, complement it beautifully); and on cool summer evenings, over a dress.

The generous 'bubble' fit and oversized sleeves make it trendy and cosy. You can wear it in your regular size or choose one size up for a more oversized look.

The cardigan is knitted in one piece, making it ideal for more advanced knitters.

What you need to knit this sweater:

• Yarn: Fuzzy Fusion (44% cotton, 36% alpaca, 20% merino); 50g = 220m: 4 skeins in the main colour, 1 skein in the accent colour.
• Gauge: 15 stitches x 20 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch.
• Needles: Circular needles (6mm, 60-80 cm cable), circular needles (5mm, 80 cm), circular needles (4.5mm, 60 cm), a tapestry needle for finishing, waste yarn, and stitch markers.
• Sizes: 1, 2, 3 = XS/S, M/L, XL/XXL.
• Knitting Level: This project is suitable for advanced knitters.

Notes on the pattern:

This sweater is knitted from the top down, starting with the neckline at the back. A simple increase shapes the shoulder line. The coloured trims are knitted along with the front panels.

We offer this pattern in three sizes. The model in the photo is wearing size 36 but chose a roomy fit with size 2 in Sand and Soft Pink. In the fourth photo, she’s wearing size 1 in Camel and Hot Pink. Choose how you want to wear this piece for your own style.
