You’ll go home with a solid foundation—not just for granny squares, but for every crochet project that follows. We start together at the table, learning step by step, and enjoy a lovely lunch together. In the afternoon, you’ll work on your project at your own pace.
Morning: Learning Together with Practice Yarn
Reading Crochet Charts: Symbols, rounds, repeats—you’ll understand the logic behind every chart so you can tackle any pattern independently from now on.
Crocheting Granny Squares: From the first slip knot to the finishing touches. You’ll make multiple squares and get a feel for the rhythm of working in the round.
Joining Squares: Learn how to connect your squares—the essential basis for a blanket, scarf, sweater, or bag.
Afternoon: Continue Practising or Start a Project Kit. You can choose& buy a kit from our webshop, and we get you started
Working with Natural Yarn: Our yarns are 100% natural. You’ll learn how to handle them and why they make a difference in your final result.
Combining Colours: We’ll help you choose colours that suit you and your project, from calm neutrals to vibrant palettes.
Continuing Independently: You’ll leave with patterns, a kit, and the confidence to keep crocheting at home—no extra help needed.

What’s Not Included?
In the afternoon, you can continue practising your squares or start one of our project kits. These are available for purchase on the day itself at the standard webshop price. We’ll help you choose a kit that fits your skill level and pace.

This workshop takes place at our studio: Boomgaardstraat 7, 8000 Bruges,
from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Please note: Les Cousines requires a minimum of 4 registrations to host the workshop. We will notify you one week in advance if the workshop is confirmed. Your spot is secured upon payment. This workshop takes place at Joost Dedamhouderstraat 6, 8000 Bruges, from 10 AM to 4 PM.
