Workshop (Rond)breien voor beginners.

Based on the Easy knit hat, Rib Beanie, or the easy cowl, this workshop will teach you continental circular knitting.

In Belgium and the Netherlands, most knitters learn to knit in the English style: the working yarn is wrapped around the needle with the right hand.

In the continental style, you hold the working yarn in your left hand. This way, you never let go of the needle and yarn, and you can easily switch between knit and purl stitches. This allows you to knit considerably faster.

Circular knitting also has a number of advantages:

 * You have no seams in your work, and therefore no sewing afterwards.

 * To achieve a stockinette stitch, you always knit.

 * Many international patterns are written for circular needles. The choice of models is endless!

Absolute beginner: Have you never knitted before? Then choose the Easy cowl!

Beginner with a basis: Can you knit and purl? Then choose the Rib Beanie (or Easy cowl).

What is not included in the price?

Yarn (You buy this on site in the desired color; for both the Easy cowl and the Rib beanie, you need 2 balls of Snuggles at €8.50/piece).

Knitting needles (You bring these from home or buy them from us. Starting from €6.50).
